02/2015 - On February 10th was 'Safer Internet Day' (SID) worldwide
Dedicated to a specific topic concerning more safety on the Internet, the SID takes place annully in more than 100 countries. Under the slogan 'My boundaries on the Internet', the initiative of the European Union (EU) and the European network 'Internet Safety for Europe' (Insafe) is addressed to all Internet users of any age. Looking for adequate solutions to increase the sensitivity in dealing with personal data, quite a number of schools, universities, administrations and further institutions took part in joint discussions all over Germany [sources: netzwelt.de; saferinternetday.org].
